Come funziona:
Il K9 TailSaver mantiene la ferita alla punta della coda del tuo cane pulita e coperta, consentendo una facile ispezione e guarigione della ferita. Con una corretta configurazione e cura delle ferite, le rotture del vasino e l'uso del TailSaver possono essere senza problemi per le lesioni alla punta della coda.
Indossare e rimuovere il TailSaver richiede circa 1-2 minuti una volta regolate inizialmente le cinghie. Si tratta di slacciare quattro fibbie.
Sistema di ancoraggio:
Quattro cinghie tengono saldamente in posizione la manica della coda e ne impediscono la torsione. Due cinghie corrono lungo la schiena collegando la manica all'imbracatura. Un'altra cinghia fornisce supporto diagonale sotto il petto e la cintura scodinzolante posiziona la coda più in basso rispetto alla schiena del cane per scoraggiare lo scodinzolio. Tutte le cinghie sono posizionate lontano dalla pancia del tuo cane per il massimo comfort.

My large and very tall 70lb Golden Doodle had an infection her tail and we were at our wits end trying to get it to heal. I contacted K9 TailSaver over Thanksgiving weekend and they responded over the weekend and sent it NextDay Mail the following day! I wasn't sure what size would be right, but Julie assured me that she checks every order to make sure the fit will be right after you submit measurements. My dog wore it for two weeks straight very happily and never seemed uncomfortable in it. They provide great videos and written directions to make sure you put in on your dog correctly. Great device and company! Don't worry about the cost--just BUY it and you'll never regret it!
This is the best product I've bought. My 7 year old pup has been biting his tail since he got bit by an Ant in August and was at the point it would need to be amputated because we got it fully healed and he wouldn't leave it alone. The anxiety it has caused my poor pup is awful until this wonderful piece of kit arrived. The customer service is second to none.

Our happy tail giant breed dog broke her tail. TailSaver as more expensive than some other low cost units, with more straps but does the job better. Watching the video is important how to mount the unit on the dog as it can be somewhat challenging for some. Our dog doesn't care if she is wearing it at all from what we can see. Had a side strap that was too short and was shipped another tail unit express - excellent customer service. Our vet says it is the best anti-waggle harness she has seen. I would suggest an option for a waterproof sleeve to over the breathable tail sleeve as our girl rubs up against greenery. We made a sleeve out of plastic garbage bag when she goes outside.
We had a fantastic experience with Happy TailSaver and can’t recommend it enough! After our pittie mix, Blue, injured his tail at daycare, our vet warned us that amputation might be necessary. In a bit of a panic, we called the company and were lucky to speak directly with someone we believe was the owner. She was incredibly helpful in guiding us through sizing (It turns out Blue is between sizes and on the slender side with a long tail) and offered great tips for achieving the best fit.
The TailSaver itself is thoughtfully designed and clearly well made. It attaches easily to the harness, making it a breeze to remove for quick potty breaks. Blue is an anxious pup, but he tolerates the Tail Saver well—and for some reason, loves the vest harness, which makes us smile every time he puts it on.
After just a few days of using the TailSaver, our vet was surprised (and cautiously optimistic!) to see signs of healing. We’re still not sure if we’ll avoid a partial amputation, but we’re incredibly grateful to have this tool to give Blue’s sweet little tail a fighting chance.
Bonus shoutout: although there was a hiccup with our overnight shipping, we still received the product in just two days, and the owner refunded the extra shipping cost before we even noticed. Top-notch service, all around!

So grateful to the tail saver. Their customer service is beyond fantastic. I received a call and follow up texts! My wolfhound had to have a portion of his tail amputated and the tail saver has been a fantastic help in preserving and healing process. Highly recommend! P.S. his tail is over 2ft. 😳
We can’t recommend The Happy Tail Saver enough! Our dog unfortunately got her tail caught in the front door, which caused painful lacerations and eventually led to a partial amputation. If we had purchased the Tail Saver earlier, we feel the amputation could have been avoided entirely.
Once we started using it, the Tail Saver provided incredible comfort for our dog and peace of mind for us. She adjusted to the harness quickly, and it was clear that it brought her relief. The design is not only practical but also well-made and easy to use.
This product has been a game-changer for protecting her tail during recovery, and it’s now part of our routine to ensure her safety. If you’re looking for a way to safeguard your pup’s tail, this is a must-have!
