Ended My Frustrations!

This product is just the ticket for hard to heal tail injuries. I struggled for a month with getting a tail injury/surgery on the end of my english setters tail to heal. Cones didn't work and constantly keeping the tail covered was not allowing it to heal properly. I talked to a number of vets and there was no easy solution. Then I found this product online. After a couple days the tail looked way better and the dog adjusted to wearing it. A great product that all vet clinics should either carry or recommend. Thank you!

Easy to use

I read instructions and watched the video. Relatively easy to use. Applied harness and let him acclimate to it. Then put on the tail saver after 1/2 hour he was snoring...

Worked great

Product was great! Unfortunately my sweet pups tail was too far gone and he had to get it amputated. Customer service was great however!!

TailSaver Review

Well constructed device, it worked as advertised. After spending 10 minutes reviewing the instructions, I placed the dog on the grooming table and had no issues installing the device. I have a long haired dog (Setter), and I had issues with hair mats on the chest area and in the arm pits.

Docked and chewed tail

Our 14 year old Standard Poodle had her tail docked to a 4 inch length due to a growth on the tail. After surgery it was impossible to keep her from licking and chewing the surgical area. We tried 4 different e collars and actually used two at once on her. Nothing worked! After a second surgery to repair the damage she had done we ordered the Tailsaver. Once the tailsaver was in place she immediately began ignoring her tail. She is not bothered one bit by the harness, tail sleeve or straps and despite one incident of chewing when left in her crate the tail saver works great. The customization and customer service by Julie is beyond what we expected and we would highly recommend the tailsaver .

Thank you so much!

This has been this missing key. My dog had an injury on the tip of her tail that required stitches. I had no idea how I was going to be able to keep her tail wrapped, and immobile long enough for it to heal. With the TailSaver, it was so easy. It was exactly what we needed to get out girl back to her happy self. Thank you!

Worked a treat!

My rescue Sprocker came to us with a bald repeatedly bleeding tail tip. I had been told by the vet it was likely it would need an operation to reduce the tail length as it was unlikely to resolve. As a last resort before surgery I decided to try the Tail saver, it was It seemed expensive but I guessed cheaper than an operation!
I used it when my dog was indoors/confined areas where most tail whacking damage occurred, I found the contraption easy to fit and hilarious to see on my dog tbh! He is an excitable youngster but didn't try to pull off, chew or displace the funky outfit. In fact he seemed quite comfy in it and would even do his wee's and poo's without issue. With regular wear his fur started to grow back and now 8 months later he has a full non-bleeding tail which can wag freely even indoors as the skin has healed completely. Thank you so much from Monty the Sprocker Spaniel who remains whole tailed!

Ridgeback success

Tailsaver was a bit of a challenge when first putting it on... directions are pretty good . After that putting it back on once you know where the straps attach , and they are adjusted correctly went on easily. Our Ridgeback is a very deep chested breed and if I have any concerns is a little more adjustment on these straps might make the harness a bit more comfortable

Hi, Sully is doing great with the tail saver, he was a little skeptical for a day or so, but has since become quite comfortable with it being on! His tail is showing signs of improvement only after a week of use! I would recommend this option before going to the extremes of surgery! I’ll do an update and another review in the upcoming weeks! Thanks again
