The Happy Tail Saver was literally a life saver! I thought for sure the only option for my Dane was getting his tail docked, but after I found this product after using others that failed me, I was so relieved that wasn't going to be the case anymore! After years of dealing with this issue, it is finally resolved! The customer service was amazing also. I was accidentally shipped the wrong size and Jamie sent me the right size for free! I love this product. It's about time someone came up with something to remedy the happy tail issue!

Our dog, Brody, had a cut at the very tip of his tail that would not stop bleeding. I truly believe that without this product part of his tail would have been amputated. I actually drove to the company in Illinois and picked up the product. The owner personally helped me fit the harness and showed me how to put it on. After watching her and then watching the video on the website I was able to understand the process of attaching the two harnesses with the straps. It does take a few practice rounds but so worth the effort. I also was told by a veterinarian to put kids pants on and tuck his tail in to keep it from wagging. We did this when we were just hanging in the house and that helped with the healing process because his tail didn’t hit the walls or furniture.

We were worried our old girl wouldn’t like it, but she loves it! Our hallways no longer look like a murder scene anymore. She has a little bit of anxiety too and the harness works like the thunder vest for her and she is so happy. We ordered a second one so we always have a clean one.

I never review products but this is actually a life saver. My dog had a panic attack and ripped out her tail hair. We tried everything to prevent it from getting worse, comes, sock over tail, pool noodles, you name it I tried it. This is the ONLY thing that worked. She doesn’t pick at it, she seems very relaxed when wearing it, and after 2 weeks her tail is starting to grow back. If you have any tail related issues PLEASE PURCHASE ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

When I noticed that my sweet pit mix had a little bug bite on her tail, I didn't expect the month's long journey that would follow as we helped her heal her tail without amputation. The bug bite scabbed over and then became a bloody mess as she happily wagged her tail hitting tables and cabinets in her wake. She became obsessed with trying to itch her healing tail and would destroy any cone that got in her way. When her vet suggested amputation was the next step, we finally pulled the trigger on the K9 TailSaver - I wish I would have done it one DAY ONE! Once it was properly fit and adjusted, she just simply forgot about it entirely. Her tail healed, is back to it's original fluff, and after many weeks and she no longer has to wear the TailSaver (though we have it cleaned and stored away in the event we ever need it again!) Fitting the TailSaver properly was super important and the customer service we received from K9 TailSaver was superb - when we emailed in pictures, they called us directly and did a live Q&A session to help make sure everything was set up properly. They were so patient and invested in us having good results with the products. When my dog chewed on the end of our original tail sleeve, they sent us a smaller one for a custom fit at no cost. Best $80 ever spent. My Goldendoodle was almost on the verge of having her tail amputated from happy tail syndrome. I was taking her back and forth to the vet sometimes twice a week to have her tail bandaged up (she kept chewing the bandage off). That’s when I decided to google ways of healing happy tail and ended up on this website. My Doodle wore it for only 4 days before going in to her next vet appointment, when the Dr walked in he was so amazed with how this harness and tail sleeve looked, he was also blown away at how good my Doodles tail looked. Because of this harness/tail sleeve we don’t have any more vet appointments scheduled and her tail is healing so good/quickly. Definitely would recommend this product for anyone dealing with happy tail syndrome.

I purchased this as my Cocker Spaniel Cooper has damaged the end of his tail from too much wagging. I manage to get it almost healed & then he will catch it again & the house looks like a crime scene all over again not to mention the pain & discomfort he feels. This harness & tail sleeve is a game changer, not only does it control the wagging at a lower level the padded sleeve helps minimise impact on hard surfaces which is key for 'happytail'. I used the size calculator to work out which size was best & ordered the small which fits perfectly with lots of adjustment to make it comfortable for him. I watched the video to see how to fit & connect the tail sleeve which was very useful & I fitted it with ease. Cooper has had it on for 5 days now & he is very happy wearing it & has not tried to chew it at all so it must be comfortable or I'm should he would of. Julie was extremely helpful ensuring that I got the correct size & the delivery was very quick. I'm so pleased with the service & more importantly the product hopefully this will mean Cooper can keep his tail rather than having to have surgery for a partial amputation. Highly recommended.

Delivers as promised! It will take many adjustments for the best fit but so worth the little bit of extra effort! No more crime scene blood splatter throughout the house. My dog wears the vest and tail saver without ant signs of discomfort Happy pup, happy mom!

I'm sending before and after pictures of Reeds fully healed "happy tail" and want to thank you for your patience and excellent customer service. After realizing this was really the only way to solve for happy tail syndrome and concluding I couldn't possibly put the harness together myself I called my brother-in-law who patiently studied the material and got the harness on my skirmy yellow lab. I mastered the tail wrap using the video and eventually could do it solo. It was challenging but we persisted - and alls well that ends well. Many thanks.

I can't express enough how wonderful this product has been for us. I was so sceptical when I ordered it but was at my wits end with cones of all shapes and sizes. My GSD had a wound on his tail and we could NOT keep him off it. The TailSaver is the only product that worked for him and I am so thankful. It took us about ten minutes to fit and get on properly but once it was on we haven't looked back. Our dogs tail is healing beautifully, he isn't running into walls or knocking anything over, he can eat and drink out of his bowls easily and play with all of his toys with absolutely no problem. 100% super recommended.

This morning I spent an hour fitting my St Bernard mix’s tail saver. It’s GREAT. He doesn’t seem to mind it at all, it keeps his tail from being both a weapon and a liability, and is keeping him from re-injuring it — he came to me with a bad case of happy tail that’s thankfully ALMOST healed. Great product, well designed. I really appreciated the careful fitting video.

I wish I found this sooner!! My Great Dane had a horrible case of happy tail. We tried an off brand of this product that created sores on his groin area and he ended up chewing through and biting through above the original spot even worse then the original spot. We purchased this hoping to save the tail and although it kept him from getting to his tail and helped protect it from hitting on anything and in general we did amputate half his tail. However we used this after amputation while he healed as well and was a life saver while he healed not to mess with the stitches! So although we didn't save his tail no fault to happy tail I truly am thankful for this product!! And believe it would have saved his tail if I gotten it earlier. In top of that Julie is amazing!! Thank you so much for this product!
